Course Description

With the rapid increase in popularity of the Indian Fashion Industry at the International level, the time is right for students of fashion to make their talents known. The National Skill Development Program (NSDP) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) report that the textiles and fashion sector of India have one of the highest employment potential in the economy. Both small scale garment production units and large scale apparel manufacturing industries are growing at a fast pace, as more graduates turn to fashion and related industries, away from the traditional careers and professions of the past decades. The Entrepreneurship Development and Management course acts as a stepping stone for those students who have a keen eye for spotting or developing a distinctive sense of fashion and style, the proficiency for identifying new opportunities and the resources needed to fulfilling the market demand, and the managerial and entrepreneurial skills for pulling all variables together to run a successful fashion business.

Course-Completion Stipulations

Students will be deemed eligible for awarding the Entrepreneurship Development and Management when they meet the stipulations for satisfactory completion of the course. The stipulations are:

  • Attendance of not less than 80% of the scheduled class hours and other assigned learning activities
  • Completion of all course assignments and performance assessments, with a total of 60 credits.

Career Prospects

A graduate of Entrepreneurship Development and Management is trained for taking on a role in the creative services based industry in both physical and virtual art.
